At UMag Solutions, we use only state-of-the-art drones and sensors to ensure best possible data.

The V2Mag system for magnetic surveying consists of a patented towing system that connects and stabilizes two magnetometers  in a gradiometer configuration. The patented towing system increases flight stability, which enables us to obtain a consistent line spacing throughout a survey and at the same time offers superior flight control and the opportunity to fly close to the water surface or terrain. In addition, the patented towing system ensures a zero-level noise influence from the drone and, hence, a high signal-to-noise ratio. As a result, we have proven anomaly detection less than 0.05nT from line-to-line and an in-line noise level of less than 0.01nT.

We are currently using a DJI Wind 4 drone equipped with D-RTK for our operations due to its high reliability and duration even under harsh conditions with altering winds, precipitation and temperatures.

We use a DJI Matrice 600 Pro drone with D-RTK for our photogrammetry surveys. Our photogrammetry equipment consists of a Sony Alpha A7R MKII camera that allows for centimeter resolution even from 100m altitude.
